Each family that becomes a part of LBC will have a specific deacon assigned to them. Each deacon will communicate with their assigned families  and arrange care in specific circumstances if needed. LBC members should feel free to reach out to their assigned deacon with any needs as well.

Danny and Angelia have been part of LBC since 2020. They have lived in the McGees Crossroads area for 19 years now. They have 4 children, a son in law and a daughter in law, and 4 grandchildren. Danny has served as a deacon for the past 2 years. He enjoys spending time with family, attending his granddaughter’s softball games, and beach trips with Angelia.

BRUCE PARRISH

Bruce and Nancy have been married 57 years. They met through Nancy’s cousin who was Bruce’s classmate. They have one son, Rodney, and his beautiful wife, Amy. They have two granddaughters, Candice and Courtney, and a great grandson, Maverick. Bruce and Nancy have been active in the Awana ministry, the Backpack Buddies ministry, and VBS, along with several Bible study groups throughout the years. Their heart’s desire is to serve wherever needed.

EDDIE PARRISH

Eddie and Jenny have been married for 41 years in July.  They have 2 children, Jeremy and wife Mary Beth, and Emilee and husband Daniel.  They also have 4 very precious grandchildren.  Eddie and Jenny are both charter members of Lighthouse Baptist Church where they have served in many different capacities.  Eddie has served as a deacon since LBC started and Jenny currently serves as the Nursery Director.  They have been AWANA commander and leaders, as well as teachers.  Eddie and Jenny own and operate Parrish Fire and Safety, Inc. in Benson.  When not working, you can find them enjoying the outside or in WV riding side by sides.

David and his wife Deborah have been married since 2009. They are blessed with three children. They began attending LBC in 2020. David and Deborah both grew up in the local area. David is a graduate of NC State and Deborah is a graduate of Campbell University. They own and operate a landscaping company. Deborah homeschools all three children. David is humbled to serve alongside the other deacons and leaders at LBC. Deborah heads up the Meal Team Ministry. Our focus is sharing Jesus with our family, our church, and the world around us. We strive to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ
